It’s full body Friday, and this one block workout has 5 awesome exercises that are sure to engage your core and make you sweat. We are starting with feet together squats. Make sure to use those legs as you press your knees together. This move helps your hamstrings and ankles, but make sure you’re only going as far as you can while keeping perfect form. Next, it’s on to step jacks. If you’re not doing them right it can seem super easy to just step back in forth, but you want to make sure you’re keeping those arms active and really using those glutes to push your legs out If you’ve been doing step jacks, I want to challenge you to try a few jumping jacks –– remember not to stomp your feet as you come down and take it slowly if you’re having difficulties. On to one of my favorites, the drinking bird! These are one of the absolute best exercises you can do for your back, posture and even flexibility It seems like a simple exercise, but you want to make sure you’re keeping your legs, back and upper body engaged. Plant those feet, and really focus on keeping the weight on them as you push your butt backwards for this move. Next are the burpee walkouts. Sit back through your heels as your hands go to the ground. Use your hands to rock back to your heels, keeping your feet flat. When you come down, think about it like you’re bending down to grab something with perfect form, then step each leg back, walk them back up to squatting and stand back up. Really put some power behind your legs as you walk them out and then back in. Put some power behind those legs as you walk them out and bring them back up. Finally, we will be finishing up strong with Russian twists. These are going to be amazing for your core. These BURN if you’re doing them right and it’s the best kind of burn! Squeeze your legs together as you balance on your tailbone and bring your hands to tap on either side of you. You want to make sure to stay tall through the top of your head and keep good posture!
