We can’t think of a better way to kick off Fall than with a big bowl of low carb chili. Keto chili is full of healthy fats while still having that delicious traditional taste we love. </p> <header>Is Grass Fed Beef Necessary?</header> <p align="justify"><b>You are what you eat...</b></p> <p align="justify">Grass-fed beef comes from cattle that graze on only grass and other foraged foods during for their entire lives. Now, what a cow eats directly affects the amount of nutrients and fats you will get from eating meat from that cow, which is why grass fed beef is always our number one choice! Avocado oil is has also been deemed a cholesterol-lowering food because of it’s high monounsaturated oleic acid content, making it a beneficial choice when it comes to heart health. Oleic acid is an omega-9, and has been known to help reduce the risk of heart disease by raising levels of high-density lipoprotein (HDL), also known as “good cholesterol.” The oleic acid in avocado oil is also beneficial because it can lower your low-density lipoprotein (LDL), also known as “bad” cholesterol. Add onion and bell pepper and sautée for 1-2 minutes. Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, and spices.</li> <li>Add ground beef and cook until slightly browned. Stir in tomato paste, tomatoes, and broth. </li> <li>Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally. </li> <li>Top with cheese, sour cream, and avocado if desired.</li> </ol> </section> </article>
